PeopleSouthern Community Church of Christ is about people! We estimate that over 1000 people pass through our doors in any given week. People come to worship, learn, eat, play, teach, sing, talk and pray. They come to paint, study, cook, and listen. They come for exercise, counselling, assistance, massage and meditation. There is always something happening at Southern and we are always open to new ideas and suggestions about what we might do next! The Ministry Team at Southern has had a broad range of experience in a diversity of roles and situations around Australia. It is a team of caring and gifted people who respond readily to the needs of people - physical, emotional and spiritual. We have a great team of volunteer helpers at Southern. Our volunteers undertake a range of tasks including leading worship, assisting with room set-ups, teaching in the youth and children’s programmes and many other important tasks. |
