Worship OptionsFeed Your Soul Primary worship times at Southern Community Church of Christ are: SUNDAYS: 9.15 am + 11 am + 6.30 pm
At Southern you’ll discover a range of worship styles to suit every taste: 9.15 am: Community Worship - The 9:15 AM service provides an opportunity for people of all ages to celebrate life. Contemporary music, activities for children, topical input, life-related stories and more. Lots of interaction and opportunity for involvement. 11.00 am: Classic Worship - A more liturgical approach to worship with a blend of classic hymns and newer music. Choral music is featured regularly. 6.30 pm: Cafe Church - Conducted in the building foyer there is a relaxed atmosphere with lots of dialogue. Coffee, tea and snacks are served. 10 am Worship Series - For two four-week periods through the year (a Summer Series and a Winter Series) and on other special occasions (Christmas, Easter, etc.) we enjoy one morning service. This 10 AM service is an opportunity to bring our entire worshipping community together for an extra special celebration. These significant events are not to be missed! Communion - Each of our Sunday services includes communion and all people are welcome to participate. Meditation. Meditation classes are conducted periodically throughout the year. We offer worship and communion at a number of ‘off-site’ venues each month, including the Kingston Centre, Cheltenham Manor and Chesterville Retirement Village. |
