Creative Friends

Come and join this friendly and inclusive group of predominantly women, for craft and catch up. This group meets every Monday afternoon in school term time from 1.30 – 3.30pm in the Foyer.
We welcome all comers and materials are provided. Although many of our group work on knitting or crocheting, any type of craft work is fine. We work together on projects to support various charities in our wider community.

Pine Street Community Garden

Pine Street Community Garden aims to meet the needs of people in the local community by providing a shared space for growing plants and vegetables, as well as developing new social networks. It is a new garden with 6 wicking beds established so far, seeking grants to help cover the setup costs of water tanks and other infrastructure. The garden has a steering committee and is auspiced by Southern Community Church of Christ. It is open for membership to local residents as well as people active in Cheltenham Community Centre or the Church.

The garden will generally be open on Wednesday and Saturday mornings from 9am. For the present, please check before you travel.

The committee meets on alternate Fridays from 9am – 11am.

Like to Get out in the Garden with others?
The Church Garden and Grounds Maintenance Group meet regularly to plan our strategies for caring for our facility and its gardens and surrounds.
