Sunday Morning Service at 10am

Sunday Evening Reflective Gathering at 7pm

We encourage you to come as you are, no matter who you are, and bring all of you! You are welcome to dress in a way that is comfortable for you. You won’t see many suits and formal attire unless for a special occasion.

We worship in a friendly and relaxed way, with laughter and occasional tears, celebrating and experiencing what Jesus has done and is doing in our lives and allowing all to explore their understanding of God and spirituality.

Our community is on a journey of regeneration. We currently do not offer a separate Sunday children’s program. Instead, children are welcome to participate in the Service and are not expected to ‘sit still.’

Practical matters: You'll find us at the junction of Chesterville Road and Pine Street in Cheltenham, not far from Southland Shopping Centre. Car parking is available off Pine Street, behind the old hall on the right; then come to the main entrance of the newer building on the left of Pine Street.

Cheltenham Community Centre share our building during the week - if you know where they are, you know where we are!

Sunday Morning Service

Our morning service includes contemporary songs and occasional hymns and features participation by people of the congregation.

We usually have upwards of 60 people attending including in person and on zoom.

We celebrate Communion weekly in a friendly and relaxed way. We welcome visitors and new worshippers to take part – it is up to you. Children are welcome to participate at the discretion of their parents or guardian. Communion for us consists of a gluten-free wafer and red grape juice.

There is generally a time of input which generally explores a Biblical theme as a series over several weeks, using a modern translation of the Bible. The service lasts about an hour, and is followed by refreshments and time to chat.

Evening Gathering

The Evening Gathering is much smaller, and can include music and prayer as well as reflection and story-telling - sometimes based around the morning's teaching, sometimes on other contemporary issues. Lectio Divina and Centering Prayer are also included from time to time, and if the weather is suitable, we might go out and walk the labyrinth prayerfully. The Evening Gathering lasts about an hour, starting at 7pm - if you are interested, you are welcome to just turn up!

Occasionally the Evening Gathering does take a break, for example over the Christmas and New Year season, so you may wish to check.
