Banksia Roof Replacement Project
20th Sep - 3rd Oct 2026

 

During the upcoming Term 3 School Holidays from the period 20th Sep until 3rd Oct 2026, there will be roof construction activities over the Banksia Hall in the Main building. As such the Banksia room and respective storerooms in it will be inaccessible. The carpark and driveway in front of the Main Building entrance will be closed to all vehicular traffic. A safety bollard system will guide pedestrians safely into or out of the Main Building.

 

The roof and gutter system above this hall have deteriorated over the years and this project aims to address this issue by a complete like-for-like repair. The Board and the project team have carried out a formal quotation process and have completed a comprehensive risk management plan for this project.

 

We will be conducting our information sessions on Mondays 17 August, 7th September and 14th September at 12pm-12:30pm in the Worship Centre (Main Building) for the Church and Cheltenham Community Centre staff, leaders and course coordinators to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
